Emma Schall
Born and raised in North Carolina, Emma never forgets her roots—she brought to New Orleans with her a sophisticated and refined taste for sweet tea. Motivated almost entirely by the warm weather and palm trees, Emma chose Loyola 
University as her undergraduate home. Apparently, her reasoning was sound because today she is contently situated in the Broadmoor neighborhood. Her initiation into the design world began at an early age. As soon as she was physically capable, she used her bedroom as an outlet for her design curiosity by constantly rearranging every piece of furniture. Her interests in information graphics and global issues influenced her senior thesis entitled: “The Truth is Beyond the Tag,” which discussed the consumer based American way of life. She leads an active role in the design community, holding the Treasurer position on the AIGA New Orleans board. In what time she has left, she screen-prints, plays volleyball and takes leisurely bike rides on the levee.
