Michelle Zande

Michelle grew up (shivering) in Columbus Ohio. She attended University of Notre Dame and graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Architecture. While there she received a scholarship to study for a year in Rome, where the emphasis was on urban design, history, and classical precedent. Upon receiving her degree, Michelle was hired to design at the Dallas office of RTKL, an architecture firm specializing in retail and large commercial projects worldwide. She later designed for the interior architecture branch of RTKL, where she was able to delve into a greater degree of craft and detail, and was published in Texas Architect. In New Orleans she worked with Eskew Filson Architects and collaborated in the design of several local commercial projects. Michelle has a passion for analyzing the intersection of creativity and cognitive styles in both adults and children. She has taught at two unique children’s programs focusing on the creation of art as an expression of complex social and personal ideas. Both experiences have challenged her understanding of behavioral, learning and creative styles and informed her ability to creatively problem solve in her professional role. E-mail Michelle.
