H. Lee Domingue
A native of Lafayette, Louisiana, Lee immersed himself in the study of art, design, and film at Washington University in St. Louis. There he found inspiration at the crossroads of design and narrative, where the visual and the temporal become hopelessly interwoven. He would show you his research on the theories of Gilles
Deleuze and the Time-Image, but he knows you might not be interested, so he’ll try to resist unless you ask. Somehow Lee has arranged his life so that he spends his leisure time obsessing over obscure film directors and his time at work doing something that’s actually enjoyable: adding to the visual culture that he loves to observe. You can ask him how he managed to work such a deal, but in all honesty, he’ll say he’s just lucky. An aficionado of art, design, music, food, and life, Lee zealously pursues the happiness contained in every stroke, pixel, note, and bite; just don’t get him started on Deleuze. E-mail Lee
