Tulane University | Gibson Circle
Originally hired to produce a study on how Tulane might more effectively brand its historic St. Charles Avenue entrance, the university later commissioned Zande+Newman to actually design and oversee fabrication of the new limestone monuments. Z+N worked with Carr Stone of New Orleans to locate the Indiana quarry that had provided the limestone for the original campus buildings in the 1890s. Campus-wide directories were an additional facet of the project.
